 This is an open post to which I'd like to invite those folks who are experimenting with Eeman screens (aka biocircuits) to share their construction tips.

Yes. I put the pipe in a vise and drilled a hole in the end and then connected the wire to the handle through the hole.

Yes, I use a cotton sleeve over the wire whether it's copper or silk. Here's where I got that on Etsy:

Even though they are in the UK, I received it pretty quick to the US. Make sure you get undyed.

Re: sensitivity, indeed. I have had quite a variety of experiences with both materials. I started with just the basic Eeman copper circuit. Then, I added the spine circuit to that and then I switched to the Lindemann Universal circuit with copper and then silk. So fun to experiment with all of this!

I'm excited you are experimenting with these!

Indeed! Leslie Patten's book Biocircuits is a great compilation source of information. If you are interested in it, get the latest version of the book.
